Santa
Monica Public Schools
Due
in part to the high cost of local private schools, elementary-school
class-size reduction (maximum 20 students per room K-3), and a baby
boom at the first grade level, the Santa Monica Unified School District
is under siege for classroom space. If you have recently moved into
the area and plan to enroll your child, K-3, into public schools,
submit your application at once. Be aware that your designated school
(by your location) may be full. Your child may be sent to another
elementary school until there is room at your local school.
